Saw a great travelin' troop of professionals doing Man of La Mancha

tonight with someone who has never been to see live theater...

It was really good, solid and the singing was top notch..

I teared up in two or three places...

The only problem I had, and it was small, was that the actor playing Sancho tried to "gay" it up a little, you know "camp gay" and it really detracted from the part...

To me that part should have been played a little road weary, you know, resigned to the man out of respect and years of service...

There's an immediacy and freshness that is extraordinary.....
