Anyone else here under the weather today?

Viremic cycles really suck. I think my sinus infection is almost done with, and here I am coughing all day long, and now the minor body aches are settling in. All I want to do is crawl under a mound of blankets and fall asleep.

1. Yes. I've had the same sore throat for weeks.

I've been to the doctor twice and have had two rounds of antibiotics. Nothing is easing the pain, not even the Tylenol with codiene they gave me. I think I might have to have my tonsils out at some point. I'm sorry you're not well. Being sick sucks. x(

2. I'm having a side-effect from medicine

It makes me unbearably sleepy. I've already had two naps today, and I'm considering a third. In fact...

3. I started with a sore throat on Sunday

and a low grade fever. That lasted for 2 days and now I have this hacking cough and other stuff...

My youngest is sick with the same thing. It's really making the rounds.

My boss shared a menthol cherry eucalyptus cough drop with me that worked wonders on my throat, but it was the only one she had. And I don't even know what the brand name is.

5. Headaches and Nauseated for a week now

but no other symptoms and I am not 100% sure why.

I think it may be stress. I found out last week that something really horrible happened to a girl that I've known all her life (she's almost 16), who is like one of my own children and have spent most of my mental faculties for the past week driving thoughts of it from my mind.

I sometimes wish I wasn't so empathetic. I am drastically affected by the tragedies of those I care about to the point of sickness even when I feel like I am keeping the thoughts/emotions at bay.

It will pass, but right now my head feels like it is on fire from the inside and my stomach gurgles and spews acid no matter what I eat or how many Tums I stuff down my throat.

7. Been fighting a cold for two weeks...

started with a tickling cough, now more congested. I'm going to have to break down and call the dr. on Monday if it doesn't improve. Dammit.
