It was pretty good except for the extreme sap at the very end.
I have camped on top of Cold Mountain before - but there is no settlement or town. Just a mountain.

Thought it was a damn good movie. Very intense and pretty graphic. Good imagery and scripts. I thought Zellwegger stole the show.

not very good either. Probably worth renting. I just finished rereading the book and as usual the movie doesn't stack up very well next to the book.

That's enough to keep me away. Civil War buff here, but after "Gods and Generals" (puke) last year, that alone won't get me in the theater.
