I've never caught that show longer than in passing with months and years in between. I realize that Tom (BERGERON?) is the latest host, but in re-runs there is this guy with Daisy and he comes across as effing STEAMED all the time.

His filmography in imbd says he's a standup, and perhaps like SAGET he prefers the dark side and just took this gig for $$$, but WHY did the AFHV people WANT him? Is it the Sound-of--Music syndrome, that it was SO saccharine that a BRACING character (Christopher PLUMMER) was needed to make the sugar go down (reverse mixing saccharines now)?

This would seem to say I've given a LOT of thought to this. I really haven't, except, whenever I see this FUGELSANG dude (I didn't even know his name until now) I wonder WHAT'S his KICK? Daisy's no blushing flower, but sometimes his dialog is BRUTAL!!1

1. I haven't watched AFHV in many years, so I've never actually seen this guy
but I looked at his bio.

Biography for
John Fugelsang

Spouse
Charmien LaFramenta (? - ?)
Trivia

Stand-up comedian.

Grew up in Long Island, New York.

Mother is an ex-nun and father is an ex-Franciscan monk.

In his one man show "Junk Male" he openly trashed music video channel VH1. Ironically, an employee of VH1 came to see the show and the channel offered him a job.
Personal quotes

"We can worry a lot about our heritage, but the Caucasians in this country haven't really worried too much about the heritage of the red people we stole it from."

"This is something that Reagan mastered. Reagan was able to come out, talk crap for ten minutes, and everyone would accept it and not challenge anything he said. And he perfected it."

"I've always said I would set myself on fire before interviewing Michael Bolton. I did, however, acquiesce to David Hasselhoff. I'm part German."
Where are they now

(August 2004) Co-hosted the short lived CNBC talk show "McEnroe" (2004) starring John McEnroe.

A. Having an ex-nun and an ex-monk for parents could fuck anybody up.

B. I like his quotes.

C. I would also set myself on fire before interviewing Michael Bolton.

I like him so far!
