6. Popped a cherry...
...tomato on my salad (we ate at Pizza Hut--I had a salad)when I tried to cut it with a dull knife, and it squirted all over my white shirt. Seeds, juice and everything, stuck to my white shirt. Then, when he brought me home, I slipped on a frozen puddle on the front walk, and busted my ass going to the front door.

And he asked me out again--actually, we ended up going steady for a year. Can you believe that?

My mama didn't name me Grace for a very good reason. :P

7. Went to Pizza Hut then a movie. Then drove to a dark street
and kissed a lot, and I felt her up pretty good. Then I took her home. Was (is?) a goofus, so didn't walk her to the door.

Pretty good date.

12. got busted....
Well, sort of. The cop impounded my car, but let us walk home, about six miles, after warning us that he'd arrest us if he caught us hitch-hiking, since the roadway was under federal jurisdiction (an international airport access highway). It was a pretty miserable date, all things considered.

She did eventually marry me, several years later.

I slipped him the tongue. For a nice little Baptist kid, he sure liked that.

Last I heard, he was in the Marine Corps. :(

23. Oy..haven't thought about this in a while.
My first date ever: Guy named Ricky. We met at a school dance. He was the "date" for a friend of mine so he could get in; his cousin was dating my friend at the time. We clicked pretty quickly. I guess, really, our first date was the dance where we met. We ended up dating for about a year.

W/my Hubby: We went to see a comedy show that the College Student Government set up to welcome all the new freshmen. The next day we went out to lunch..Taco Bell. I married him 2 years later.
