Milk
What's the price of it in your area?

And have you noticed that skim milk is about 40 cents cheaper than whole (4%)?

Maybe it's just me, but skim milk used to be pricier than whole...

Mind you, diesel used to cost less than unleaded too... (which is $1.87 in my neck of the woods... :wow: )

1. It might have to do with their set up. company wise
If a company owns the milk and makes butter, they make more money off the skim milk since they make money off of both the milkfat (butter) and the skim milk. If it is a company that doesn't do butter, they might not get a good enough deal to make skim milker cheaper for them. Regardless of the company's set up, it might have to do with the price of fluid milk versus butter (milkfat).
I don't remember the milk prices. It seems to have gotten cheaper than it has been, although it could have been the grocery store. Yes whole is cheaper than skim.
