My cat won't stop staring at me. It's creeping me out.
Edited on Fri Jan-26-07 11:54 PM by Prisoner_Number_Six
I've fed her no less than three times, hoping she wouldn't turn up her nose at it and twitch her tail while walking away. She ate a bit of flaked tuna feast, then plopped down on the floor next to me and just started LOOKING at me. Even after reaching down and petting her for, oh, say, a half hour, she still won't stop LOOKING at me!

I don't care if she HAS been with me since Nashville (about ten years). It's still way too freaky for me!

:eyes: :scared:

1. When you stare back, who blinks first?
If you can stand staring at her, she probably will blink first and lose interest. Works with most of my cats.

It IS vaguely creepy though.

3. Not her. She never blinks, and she's still there.
I'm thinking of getting a hotel room for the night.

2. At least consider yourself lucky that
she's not a young male cat that has fallen in love with you and tries to, well, you know.

Consider yourself one lucky cat farmer.

5. My cat only does that when he wants to be fed.
I can only take it so long before it starts to creep me out too. Good luck with that.

She's now sitting in front of the front door, staring at it.

14. You Have To Forgive Her. Cats Are On A Constant Acid Trip.
A lot of what cats do never made sense to me.... Then, one night, many many years ago, when I was trippin my face off, they just didn't seem odd anymore. It all became so clear: Cat's do what they do because they're on one long acid trip.

I'm tellin ya, believe it or not, if you're ever trippin and pay attention to your cats it will alllll of a sudden just fall right into place for you. Ya gotta believe me LOL

28. Mine stop staring
and start snoring all over the bed. It's cold enough for a three cat night lately! My biggest problems are being able to move my legs (cats on them) and getting the roots of my hair chewed when Rosie wants me to get up! That's one of the weirdest feelings in the world! eeewwwweeeuuuu!

Will there be a place for you in the New World Order? Your kitty must decide.

Me, I will happily submit to whatever my Kitty Overlords have in mind for me ... :)

33. When a cat does that...
it means the cat is checking to see if you're still breathing.
If not, eventually it will eat you when it's food runs out.
What do you think happens to those old cat ladies when they die?
They become the cat food.
