3. I've met a few

There's a number of well educated exotic dancers. One I met was in real estate and just trying to make a living. I'm not condoning their career decisions, but many are really trying to pay the bills in route to their ultimate careers.

5. most of the ones here in town...

there are only a couple of strip bars here, and i know i recognize most of the dancers from campus...

yeah, the guy who owns the biggest of the bars is a friend of mine (our kids are in the same class), and over time, i've gotten to know most of his employees. He's a good guy, and has a high retention rate with his girls, because the place is nice, very safe, and he treats them well.

8. I don't know, but one of the perils of working your way through...

is that you can work your way out. You need more money, you work more, you have time for less classes, you take less classes, you see that it will take forever to get done, you decide to just work.

...I can't help it in my line of work (student financial aid). :) I think it's a myth that there are lots of college students stripping their way to a degree.

Edited to clarify: No, the financial aid office does NOT have regular strippers. :rofl: I've just talked to some students who have told me that's what they've done. :P
