I saw a woman driving an ATV with a one year old baby today.
Could not friggin believe it. She had a helmet on, the baby did not, which I guess is moot considering that the kid should not have been on there in the first place. She had the kid in one of those strap on contraptions and the child was in front of her. The kid did not look happy, his hair was all fragged out and he had a startled, bewildered look on his face, kind of frozen or in shock. I should have grabbed her keys as she was stopped but she took off too fast. I did manage to tell her that that was not a good idea, not safe and not legal. To which she replied, "Oh, he'll be fine." I swear what the fuck is wrong with some people?

1. One of our students died 2 nights ago in a snowmobile accident
Out riding at 1:30 AM and hit a tree...

It amazes me what people do thinking those sort of vehicles are completely safe.

6. I almost killed a whole family last month!
They were on one of the larger models, two adults and two young children (2y/o & an infant). No helmets, driving around a 90 degree turn on the WRONG side of the road. I had to slam on my brakes so hard my dog got thrown off the seat!
The idiot had the nerve to flip me off as he rode away! If I see him again on the roads I am going to have a "heart to heart" talk with him. I am going to inform him that he is breaking the law by riding on the road. (it is illegal in Tennessee) I am going to inform him he is endangering his children to the point that I am considering calling child protective services. I will also inform him that it is unwise to flip somebody off on the road, especially when he was the one in the wrong.
