I woke up at 6 am. The reason why is pretty sad.

I'm buying concert tickets for my first date in more years than I care to think about at 10. I didn't want to sleep in and miss it and I was nervous.

So I woke up at 6.

I think that's perhaps a bit sad.

I had to take a piss.

I guess it's not really that noteworthy, now that I think about it.

22. I woke up too early one day and got Stones tickets because of it.

Completely unintentionally.

Couldn't sleep, got up early, turned on the radio while showering. The radio station said that the Stones were doing an unannounced concert at a small venue downtown, and tickets were being sold there RIGHT NOW. So, I jumped in my car, drove to downtown, saw a line with thousands of people outside the theater. I thought I had no chance to get tickets but got in line anyways.

I got front row balcony seats in a 5000-seat theater for $10 a ticket. Of course, this was 1979, but this was even cheap back then. The "Some Girls" tour, one of their better albums. The Stones were incredible live. All because I couldn't sleep.
