2. Am I the only one bothered by the fact that Best Picture lists the producers rather than director..
And writer? Give the credit to the damn creative team, not the damn business team.

3. They always do. Best Picture Oscars are given to the producers. The writers have
their own awards — Screenplay awards, and the directors have Best Director.

4. I realize that,, but the winner for best picture and best director/writer aren't always the same...
And the writer and director deserve the credit for best picture as well, in my opinion.

5. That's true, but in some cases, I believe the best film (as a whole work) doesn't
necessarily have the best director nor does it necessarily have the best screenplay.

But it is much more to the credit of the director and writer that a film is the best picture than it is the producers.
