1. Haven't seen it yet, but I really enjoy Iñárritu's films and it's gotten mostly good reviews...

So I really want to check it out.

through to the other side and connect with life again. I thought her story was the best one of the lot.

True story: went to see it at a megaplex opening weekend; lots of people there that were not the usual arthouse type. Color me surprised, then realize they are there to see Brad Pitt. In the bathroom afterwards, I overheard this dialog:

Woman 1: "Gosh, that movie was AWFUL."
Woman 2: "Yeah, and Brad Pitt looked like shit, too."

8. I tried to get out what I thought was the message and both arthouse types

I was with said "enough..there doesn't have to be a message..leave it at what it is" LOL
