I don't do the nonstick crap. I use cast iron.

You can buy expensive cast iron from Williams-Sonoma - like the LeCruet stuff - or you can buy cheap cast iron from Williams-Sonoma - like the Lodge.

Most of my stuff is Lodge. It works just dandy.

8. I don't buy anything that "non-stick" Don't trust the chemicals

and don't think they're necessary. I'm a huge fan of cast iron. I inherited two skillets from my mom, and have a cast iron stew pot from Lodge that works great!

So, yes, that is too much for a chemical-laden frying pan. imo.

9. i got a caphalon set at Costco a few years ago for $300, maybe the quality

isn't as good as the one from W. Sonoma but they work really well. I hand wash them, learned that lesson the hard way.
