They are all mellowed out...should I bathe them while they are a bit unwound or wait until tomorrow??

1. Wait until tomorrow, imo.

If they're mellowed out and relaxed, just leave them be. The baths can wait.

3. yeah, that is what I thought
but then I thought they may be less "playful" if they are mellow.

They tend to run around the house after a bath.

23. I'd wait. They'd probably run, regardless of their mood now.
I could probably wake my dogs from a deep sleep, bathe them, and they'd still run.

I think it's something about getting their body temps up and also removing the stink of clean by rubbing themselves on anything they can.

5. If they don't smell to bad, let it wait.
My dog hates getting a bath, any time is a bad for her.

10. Dogs can find something to get into at any time.
How much smell can your nose take.

Do they sleep on floor or other places.

19. Damn they must really smell then.
The dogs aren't going to be happy anyway, so just give them a bath.

Smelly dogs go before mellow dogs.

9. If they smell that bad...
I vote for the bath.

There's never a good time as far as they're concerned. You'll like them so much more when they don't stink. :-)

12. I find that bathing my dogs mellows them out pretty well
If they're already chilled out and you're not feeling up to it, I'd wait till tomorrow.

16. Funny...
that would take longer than the bath.

Besides, I took so long trying to decide whether or not to do it they fell asleep and I am not THAT bad a mom!

17. Give 'em a chance to bask in their natural musk
There's time enough tomorrow to take it from 'em.
