6. My summer bunny is alive.
Sweet! That's a good pic.

My house is the second house from the alley and there's a field behind the houses across the street. During the summer, a rabbit would come into the yard. I also saw it in the alley a few times. I fed it throughout the summer, but quit after it stopped visiting. I figured it had either died or couldn't fit through the fence holes- if that was how it was getting through.

Yesterday, while I was shoveling snow, I saw rabbit tracks going from the alley and the neighbor's sidewalk towards the field. The field is basically a block that doesn't have houses on it. I put lettuce in the alley to help him survive the winter.

15. It's a BIG problem if you have a garden!
Whats wrong with a dog having a little snack? Its not like she didn't earn it. She caught the rabbit, she gets to eat it. It will no longer snack on my vegetables.

16. I didn't say we have a garden.
It's not a problem for us. We want animals in our yard so it is not just a sterile, boring suburban yard. If we get one, I think we will find a different way to handle it. I am not suggesting people can't control pests. Rather it is more like a reaction to the nasty answer to a question no one asked.

18. It was the only "Bunny picture" I had!
I guess if I lived in the burbs I would welcome and enjoy the occasional rabbit. Where I live they are everywhere, they breed like rabbits! (go figure!)

21. Is that one of those hairless Chinese crested dogs?
No matter what, dogs will always have the drive to hunt. She is just like any other dog.
