Big doings at the Witch house!
My 5 year old daughter decided to become a stylist today. She cut her own hair.

She actually did not do an awful job, but we just got back from Fantastic Sam's, where they fixed it so it is an actual cohesive style. She now has a just below chin length bob.

5. When I was that age, I decided that I wanted bangs.
It took a lot of snips to even them out, but finally I had nice, even, 1/4 " long bangs. No hairstylist could fix that -- just had to wait for it to grow out.

7. Oh yeah
She only did one snip into the bangs, and it was underneath so it does not look too bad.

10. I remember those days
I had a babysitter who took it upon herself to cut my 5 year old's hair once - I was livid. Then the 5 year old decided to cut her little sister's hair. Both kids looked kinda funny for a while. :eyes:

My then-husband gave my son a buzz cut when he was three. My son had beautiful, soft, brown hair and he came out of the bathroom looking like a little Marine. I cried.

Once I got over it, though, I realized how much easier it was to deal with.

I miss having little ones.
