I just came back from holding my nephew

He was 9.5lbs and 22 inches long when he was born and his feet are 31/2 inches long as well, so he's a big boy. The only thing was his other grandfather was there too. The snakehandling Christian fundamentalist that I will be subverting in his efforts to turn my nephew into a snakehandling religious fundamentalist. He asked me about my job at the automotive parts factory that I work at and I explained to him about the hiring situation there and how I've got union benefits etc. etc... He then goes off on a long spiel about how he has no health benefits, holidays or breaks except for his lunch break(Duh! You're selfemployed in construction jackass ). Then he says tyhe only thing he has is the power of Jesus and goes off on a long spiel about how great he is because of the power of Jesus, blah, blah, blah. I just nod my head and internally roll my eyes. Then think, "for the love of Christ,(No Pun intended)I'm a Christian and I love Jesus too, but I'm not completly reliant upon religious dogma that I can't function on my own mentally.

I know how you feel about your father. I study Christianity (I say study because I can't fully commit to a religion without studying it for its worth) but I don't wear it on my sleeve and I can function in reality.

So much that she was malnourished and passed out in the bathroom
