Did any of you know that Montpelier, VT is the ONLY state capital that does NOT
have a MacDonald's?

I bet you didn't. But it's another reason to like Vermont, isn't it?

1. Another thing about Montpelier....
and I was there years ago, is by far the smallest state capital I have ever been in. Plus one of the prettiest.

5. I love the capital. So cute, tucked in that deep valley. Plus the gold dome on the state house
is so audacious giving it's setting. I love it.

7. I spent a few summer weeks in Vermont as a child.
Gorgeous. It's the first time I remember not caring that there wasn't a TV.
