from what I heard, AC numbers were reversed, so now a HIGH AC is good and a low is bad. Its supposed to make to-hit rolls easier to calculate. Im not sure how.....

33. I found a near mint copy of that and the MM at an opening of a Half-Price books,

two years ago. They are shockingly pristine. Someone must have put them on a shelf and never touched them all those years. My original from the early 80's was beat to the Nine Hells. I never did have the PHB with the original cover. I'm hoping the book gods and goddesses put one in my path that is in such great condition--oh, and the first printing of Deities and Demigods with the Melnibone section intact, as well (okay, now I'm getting greedy).

...since my fighting-monk/priest made tenth level last fall. It's a good thing that this is a semi-historical game (I'm the Horatio Hornblower knock-off) in which almost no one wears armor, and few are buffed up magically.
