My system crashed, it's frozen. Don't have the original disks because my son had them and lost them. To get the Geeks to fix it blah, blah would cost 199.00. Plus I needed a larger hd anyway.

Lost all my files, bookmarks, emails, settings... the whole damn enchilada. Well ya know, I WAS going to back those fuckers up one day. :mad: What's the emoticon for mega procrastinator. :-p

Cheaper to buy a new machine. Go one with Windows Media Center already installed. Being hopelessly computer stupid and without the settings, bookmarks, etc. to get help I'm feeling a lot like you. :hug: Except I think you know what you're doing, lol. Got everything going pretty good except email. I want to change my isp to Comcast. They too are fuckers.

To top it all off I haven't been able to login to DU since last week. The system didn't recognize my username... well shit I know I put on a few pounds over the holidays but, I haven't changed THAT much ;)
