16. I got the BEST new boots!

Of course I have nowhere to wear them- they are way too high heeled for work, and too fancy too.



I did today put together a new outfit imitating a look I saw in this month's Bazaar, using stuff I already have, which is economical: Gray pencil skirt, lavendar silk tank top, coordinating cardigan, medium thin black leather belt worn high on waist, black stockings and boots. It's fun to put together new looks, becuase fashion is so boring these days I don't feel like buying anything new. Except maybe those new sci-fi inspired looks from Balenciega and others.

I found one that was 6' (and a weightlifter, so he looks bigger than he is). We think the neighbors call us "the big couple" behind our backs.

One of his friends got really drunk one night, and when my S.O. said that we've been fighting, the friend said "you can't break up! There ARE no other gorillas!" He was mortified later when he was told what he said, but we thought it was funny. We don't mind being "the big couple" - no one messes with us!
