6. No, they already nuked the shark, so to speak.

Barely into the first hours of the season a suitcase nuke was detonated in L.A., because everyone knows that the terrorists view that city as the center of the universe. Nice shroom cloud, though.

I don't know what happened after that because Heroes is on opposite it, and that show is a tad less predictable.

8. But Heroes is even more contrived!

I loved the opening episodes, but it's gotten to be a bit over the top. Tonight's revelation about Hiro was waaaay too much, for example. I also can't stand the Mirror-Woman/Shadow-Man subplot, which started out well but has really started dragging.

For that matter, the whole "Evolving Toward Destiny" thing sets my teeth on edge.

Contrived like a comic book is still better than yet another season of Jack vs. the Ayrabs in my book.
