Everytime 'Animal Cops' is on Animal Planet channel I have to watch it even though it just makes me so sad to see what people can do to these animals. Last night 'Animal Cops Houston' rescued a bull terrier that was drug behind a truck and in such horrible shape that they had no choice but to put the poor guy to sleep. And some lady who had 3 horses didn't take care of those horses for almost a year because those were her late husband's horses and she had no clue how to take care of them. One of the horses died but the others did have happily ever after stories.

It's almost like I go looking for the next time this show is on - I have to stop, it just tears at my heart that there are such horrible people out there!

That poor thing looked red and raw all over- I knew he didn't stand a chance. As for the horses, it's a shame that stupidity isn't criminal. That woman knew better than to keep three horses she had no clue to care for.

9. My friend works for the AZ Humane Society

which is one of the agencies featured on "Animal Cops". She says it has not done much for her view of humans to see the way people treat animals - even just people dropping of "unwanted" pets.

On a lighter note, one of the folks at the Houston HS told her to expect some divas (both M/F) to emerge once they get air time - it had happened at her organization.
