3. "I'm made of rubber, and you're made of glue. Whatever you say bounces
off me and sticks to you."

Try that. It ought to work on a 4-year-old.

8. Good suggestion.
However my fear is that she'll take it and use it on me again and again and again and again...

10. And over and over and over yet again. They're damn clever at that age.
But still delightful.

11. I think a four-year-old would do well to stick to the insults of the
seventies. My kids are always saying, "Yo Mama!" as in "Yo Mama gonna put his laundry down the chute!" "You Mama gonna clean the cat litter box!" :eyes: Kids. They've got no stinkin' respect. :)

13. Hey, as long as they don't say "Ya mudda wears Army boots!" (That's one from
the Fifties / early Sixties, so you probably don't remember it or its many disgusting variations.)

5. I think the first question is:
Are you a jive turkey?

Cause if you are, there are things we can do. You know, hippin' you up and all.

12. When did people stop using the word "jive"?
I've often thought of throwing it out in normal conversation, but it just never seems appropriate.

20. Have you ever considered
being less of a jive turkey?

There's more than one solution to any given dilemma.
