He has no insurance. He's hoping fans and collectors can help him rebuild his collection.

Makes you want to cry 96 Tears...

VIENNA TOWNSHIP (WJRT) - (01/13/07)--A Michigan rock and roll legend is sifting through the remains of his Vienna Township home this weekend after a fire destroyed more than 40 years of music history.

For four decades now, he's gone by the name Question Mark and was the frontman for the band Question Mark and the Mysterians.

...

But while the memorabilia it important, he is desperately searching for the remains of four of his seven Yorkies that he was unable to save from the burning structure.

'Q' says he has no insurance and he's not sure how to recover documentation on some of his lost musical accomplishments, such as the gold record and the BMI award for his three-millionth air play.

He's asking anyone with Question Mark memories to contact him on his MYSPACE page, or write him at his post office box:

1. I'm Crying...
oh wait - you beat me to that joke.

That sucks, though, for him.

5. I don't think they were in the spotlight...
long enough to make much money. And their hit was 40 years ago, or so. Maybe he was squeaking by, trying not to get a "real" job... From what I remember, Clio, Michigan is not a high rent district.

Insurance wouldn't have replaced his memorabilia anyway. It's too bad he didn't archive it in some way.
