I was so tempted this morning
to call in sick and stay in bed. But in the end my sense of responsibility won and I got up and went to work.

Aren't you proud of me? :D

1. Well done MHc.
I took a different route this morning. Today was my day to clean the kitchen and bathroom. I gave one of the kids next door 20$ to do it for me. Then I went back to bed. They did a really good job too.

3. Could you please send them over?
They could earn a bit more if they come to my work place, sit on my desk and pretend to work. I'm not doing much more myself

Probably for under 2$ per hour. You have to pay for shipping.

And not the pizza you have in Germany. I ate so many of the ones they sell at the spinning meat places. </ugly American> Pizza marguerite. Not very good.

I want to go to bed... and I have the roofer (roofer??! says Babelfish, and it certainly sounds like babelfish) here... Two shingles he was supposed to replace, but he is very industrious and has already found seven other places that need fixing... he also needs to use my bathroom, and I want him to GO so I can dive into the tub and go to bed afterwards.

29. I'm proud of you
MissH for listening to your sense of responsibility. That said, I too was going to call in sick. I was traumatized at the dentist yesterday. 1-1/2 hours in the chair. I was so stressed by the time I got home, I made myself a bowl of soup and went to straight to bed. Good Lord, at 8:00 p.m. Surprisingly I slept all night, but I still feel lousy this morning. I think I'll go in to work for a few hours and then call it a day.

I just want to curl up on my couch with my book and a warm cup of tea!

34. Yeah, in the long
run it'll be worth it, but I'm feeling so lethargic right now, and that's just not like me. The dentist is really nice and (ahem) a bit on the hawt side, so I guess there's a bit of a plus to all of this.

Yes, to spend the afternoon reading sounds like heaven right now. I'm reading a really good book, and I can't wait to see what happens next. It's by a Wisconsin author. I had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of weeks ago. Very nice, gracious and funny woman.

I just started an interesting book myself. It is a fantasy about books by a German author.

And I just finished another great book: A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka. You should check it out. http://www.amazon.com/Short-History-Tractors-Ukrainian-Novel/dp/B000BNNLN4/sr=8-3/qid=1170246811/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3/002-9297422-5833649?ie=UTF8&s=books

I read the description. I was wondering why you were so enamored with tractors! I'll definitely have to check that one out. It's exactly the type of book I need right now.

Gotta go fill up my travel mug and head out. I'm stopping by the store b/4 work because I'm out of ibuprofen and my mouth is screaming for some relief!

Wishing you a great rest of the day.
