It's RAINING!!!!

Ok, so for most of you this isn't a big deal but here in AZ we're in an 11 yr drought. We don't see a lot of rain. This is nice. It feels so cozy. If I wasn't spending all my time here I think I'd just stare out the window and enjoy the sight of a rainy day.

Oh! And take that FBR Open! heeheehee... it always rains during a golf tournament here, doesn't matter how long the drought!

We finally got some rain here, yesterday.

It's been a lousy winter here in SoCal.
We're going through a drought.
We've only had 3/4 inch of rain here
until yesterday.

3. My husband just called me a snowflake

because I don't want to go out in the rain to do some shopping.
People here drive terribly when the roads are dry. When the roads are wet... :scared:

Glad to hear you're getting some rain too. The people in other states don't understand how exciting a bit of rain can be when you only see rain every other month or so!

Don't let him tease you- the drivers here are nuts
when it does rain. There's so little of it, they don't know
what to do when they're on the road.

So I don't blame you one bit!

Let's keep our fingers crossed for more rain this winter.

2. I LOVE a rainy day.

I love the sound of the rain on the roof. Cozy is just the right word.

4. It's so rare here.

I was used to so much more rain in PA. Now I'm so used to a sunny day in AZ that rain is exciting.

and the rain, when it came even as infrequently as it did, was so welcome.
