I would be curious as to everyone's age who replies. That's no more personal than orientation, right? I'm 52 and Lesbian and in Austin. When I was a young hippie, it was the late 60s and early 70s. If it moved, we screwed it. Well, that was crude and movement wasn't even necessary.

Anyway, it was a different time and people were experimenting more. I hung out for a while on the East Coast. I had friends at Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr and Harvard. Everyone was a Marxist and a lot of people thought monogamy and/or labels, were bourgeois. (Which is funny because Marx would have shit....)

And modern feminism was just coming into it's own. I knew women who were completely straight but became lesbians because they thought it was politically incorrect to sleep with the "enemy".

...and I knew people in committed three-ways.

Ultimately, it got tiresome and people got hurt. ...and men are NOT the enemy and if you be something you aren't, you might as well be dead.

I even enjoy sex with men; I just much prefer it with women and orientation has less to do with sex than it has to do with...who you want to snuggle down with afterward. I don't feel romantic toward men. Afterward, I always made them go sleep on the couch. So sexually, I prefer women and I only feel romantic toward women...so just because I would say, technically, I'm 92% lesbian and 8% hetero does not really a bisexual make. ...and I'm almost pathologically monogamous.

My girlfriend used to be married to a man. She prefers women. We've been together for 15 years, totally monogamous, still in love and..................................I still like watching her walk away.
