Some member friends who went with us got us access.
Not a campground, just open land by the river.
Yeah, some of those damned canoers stole the wine I had cooling in the stream.

The caretaker told us we could see the 'bay-uhs' at the restaurant dumpster down the road around sundown. We went and sure enough, two showed up and just ransacked that dumpster.

That night, lying in my cloth sleeping bag, inside my cloth tent, I kept saying, over and over "they're as afraid/shy of me as I am of them".
