1. My kooky grandmother gives those to everyone for Christmas.
Which I guess is an improvement on some of the things she used to give us - such as donating money to Ora Roberts University in our name, etc.

My mother-in-law used to donate $$$$$$, in my kids names, to buy goats and sheep for poor people in Africa. The animals probably ended up in the cooking pot---------.

3. Isn't that offensive?
I don't know about Christians, but I know there are Jews who would find the idea of holy scripture printed on the wrapper of candy very offensive, considering most people would just throw the wrapper away.
