1. We have been cheating lately. Low Carb bread is disgusting.
On a cold winter's day, there's nothing like the smell of homebaked bread!

2. There are better and better subs for bread coming
Just tried "Helathy Life" Italian - better than Atkins. Also heard that Panera's is coming out with one. The bread franchisers had a big confab this Fall (according to a friend whose son is in the biz) - and expect to see more.

The only thing I really missed was toast - now I have it and reamin on track with the only diet that has ever worked for me.

Good Bread Hunting.....

4. Sara Lee just came out with bread
with 9 cards and 1/2 gram of sugar per slice... It's about the best I've had so far. If they can figure this bread thing out then I'll eat sugarbusters style the rest of my life...

3. I hope this isn't too cruel
but I just made homemade croissants today (actually yesterday and today, it's a 6 hour process). Oh my gawd were they good, my entire house smells like a bakery. No idea how I manage it, but I won't gain an ounce. I actually want to gain some weight.

6. Homemade Croissants are Awesome!
There's nothing like pressing a stick of butter into doughy carbs!

5. You mean people don't eat naan?
Piping hot garlic naan with lots of cilantro and a big ol bowl of sauce to dip it in? Or keema nan stuffed with that wonderful fragant lamb?

Or donuts? Maple bars? Apple fritters? Chocolate covered bismarcks?
