Just bought "Photoimpact 8.5 Pro"

Just bought "Photoimpact 8.5 Pro"
Problem is, Ulead claims they don't make the product. They make PhotoImpact XL (technically 8.5)

I checked out this ersatz version's website, www.novadevelopment.com and lo and behold, their website has nothing on this mystery product either.

Should I open this box, or return it and find the genuine product?

2. I'd done that prior to posting
Got some reviews on PhotoImpact XL "(technically 8.5)" but nothing that conforms to the exact title "Photo Impact 8.5 Pro" or the box's appearance. It looks like the ersatz version is PhotoImpact XL that's been licensed out and renamed by this new company. I doubt any patches released by ulead will work, so I will likely return it and try to find the genuine article...
