Because the definition of "bothering" is different here than there.
While it is true that this is a partisan board, there is a big amount of debate going on here, and many points of view which could be defended or supported by conservatives.

...that DU is not a superior community, because I think it is. But as far as I understand it Free Republic is a forum for conservatives and DU is a forum for liberals, that specifically asks that conservatives refrain from participating. Owners of internet forums have the right to set rules, guidelines and limitations. When liberals go over and get banned at Free Republic, it doesn't prove that they're idiots, though they are. It proves that those liberals don't respect the guidelines of their forum.
