The freepers will probably try to demand equal time while they gripe about the li-ber-al show. They'll also comment that this is proof that Gore is not the right person to be president--all those depraved Hollywood liberals like him, and they don't reflect the values of real Americans.

and he hardly sounded like a freeper. I don't think the right can truly claim him as "theirs" anymore. I doubt they'd appreciate his comments on the war in Iraq -- which he faults as badly planned.
And, as usual, the freerepublic poster who predicted Eastwood as the big winner at the Awards was mistaken - as he probably is about just about everything.

Eastwood is an excellent film maker, but his politics are quite unfortunate.
