3. LOL
so everyone has me on ignore.

i am sorry if I don't like WEMU, I think it is not a good public radio station.

And if that is the reason, that is pathetic and childish on the part of everyone that feels that way.

5. Why don't you think it's good?
Seriously, I'd like to know. Because I am the chief fundraiser there.

7. personally
a couple of reasons.

one, I don't like the noise that passes as modern jazz.

two, other than the NPR programming, the quality of the programming never seemed to appeal to me.

For example, tonight you are broadcasting an EMU Womens basketball game. There may be listeners that like that though, so dont take that too hard, to listen to WEMU now, I have to listen online, like I am now, because I am back in MN.

But, for my 5 years in Ann Arbor, I never once turned on WEMU and found something I wanted to listen to. I think that I am spoiled by MN public radio though, it is, in my opinion, of exceptional quality, whether I am listening to the classical station, the news station, or the modern music station. The NPR programming, and the local programming, are both good.

I will listen for a while and tell you what I think, but keep in mind, this is only one guys opinion.

10. University holds the license
Hence, we can't do anything about the sports. EMU has it rough with major media taking UM and the next tier taking MSU; it's hard to find a broadcast outlet left for EMU sports. So, it's up to us.

Try 10a-1p Sundays (9a-noon for you) to the classic jazz program. Nothing after 1940, basically. Or try the blues block on Sunday afternoons.

11. the Jazz program on Saturdays
is wonderful. Maybe it's the radio or stereo you're listening to that doesn't have good speakers?
:)

all kidding aside. The Jazz program is great and the host is terrific.

9. My only problem with Feingold
is that he has stated that as far as he is concerned, impeachment is off the table and not an option, because, according to him it is not in the best interests of the country.

Sorry, but I think there is nothing that is more important to the country than the impeachment of the entire BushCo.

12. I'll admit to not agreeing with that either
but I have to respect that he's not one to pander. He's willing to express opinions that aren't always popular. He's got courage in his convictions and that quality means a lot to me.

13. Why impeach? Another "non-binding" exercise?
Even if the house could ITMFA, I doubt the senate would convict. Without a conviction, it's pointless, because ...

I AM BUSH THE PREZ AND I DON'T LISTEN! LALALALALALALA

I think it would turn out largely symbolic, like the resolution against the surge.

And here's one (more) time that I'd like to be wrong.
