A DRIVER was caught drunk behind the wheel twice on the same day on the same road.

A sheriff yesterday warned Richard Power he faces prison time.

The 32-year-old was stopped by police carrying out routine checks in the early hours of January 30.

Police pulled him over on Ellon Road, Aberdeen, at around 3am and found he was twice the drink-driving limit.

After another drinking session, the shipyard welder was stopped on the same road in a different car at around 8pm.

He was nearly three times the limit.
