6. don't wet your pants over two pairs

you can have a pair of kings and a pair of aces and 3 deuces will beat it. I learned the hard way about throwing too much money in on two pairs

8. Advice

Premium hands. You only start with jacks or better split, nines or better wired, three high cards to a flush. If a bet's good enough to call, you're in there raising. Tight but aggressive. That's your style. Always calculate, think of it as war.
