....and we enjoy the company of other connoisseurs of boredom and irritation.

I've been here 5 years now. Mostly I just read and watch. Sometimes I jump in and take a spin on the merry-go-round.

Really, there are just a handful of dreadful discussions that we keep having over and over. We never get anywhere because you can't reason with people who don't "do" reason. At first we think if we keep it up we'll wear them down and they'll just go away. After a while we come to realize that "they" intend to wear "us" down....and they're better at it.

So why do we keep beating our heads against the wall? Maybe we like the way it makes us look. Maybe we think "if I keep beating my head against this wall I'll eventually get a really neat big round flat spot on my forehead......then maybe the cool chicks/guys will start to notice me".

I could go on but I'm getting bored and irritated.....
