Hacked my hair off tonight, out of sheer (or shear!) boredom...

I had been toying with the idea of cutting it for quite a while. I had been wearing it long (about to my shoulderblades in back) and totally natural (curly, no blow-drying, nada but for some curl conditioning creme)
Liked the versatility of the length, but was REALLY getting tired of it. Saw some cute pix of hairstyles that I thought might flatter my face, such as it is, and not look too stupid or inappropriate for my age, but we are snowed in and I couldn't so much as get out of the driveway, and I am sometimes impatient :-P so I grabbed the scissors and hacked away and it actually turned out pretty decent! I will probably need to tweak it some as I learn to style it (I cut it about chin length, with some wispy fringy bits - rather like Kristin Bretiweiser, one of the Jersey Girls...)
But I am pretty happy, and it's only hair so if I end up hating it, it grows, and it was free, so can't complain!
