77. Was there ever any doubt?
Been a fan since 1965, when this photo was taken:

Sandy Koufax pitching to Tony Oliva in game two of the '65 Series.

(Dodgers won it in seven games. Koufax won the fifth and seventh, pitching 18 innings and giving up a total of seven hits. In the Series, he gave up one earned run in 24 innings.)

In the late '70s-early '80s, they were a sixth-place ball club, but they regularly beat up on the Dodgers. Between that and that furshlugginger "tomahawk chop," I developed a strong dislike for 'em. :grr:

A hot bath would be absolutely wonderful. We haven't had a working bathtub for about 6.5 years. Only a shower. I'd love to have a nice long soak.

We have a jacuzzi now and when it's all plumbed and the bathroom done... It will be heaven on earth.

Edited on Sat Mar-03-07 01:33 AM by petersond
when my wife and I were out shopping tonight, we passed a clearance shelf, with Superman bubble bath...My wife asks "Do you have that all ready" I say "Yeah, I got two of them" and as we walk by a father/kid walk by, and the kid says, "Look daddy, superman, can I get him?" and the father, says "yes" The look on the kids face was precious, when his father gave him the little bubble bath container...and all I had on my face, was a cheezy grin, and a thought going through my head "another superman fan, all right!"...I'm sure a damn geek, :D

93. Taking my shoes off when I get home,
wiggling my toes and letting my feet breathe a bit. I'm like Huck Finn in that regard; all that civilizing and shoe wearing stuff is painful.

Even with the softest sneakers, my feet do not react well with socks. My feet turn blood red, feel like they are on fire, swell up, and ache all day long. Dammit, why is it so hard to find 100% cotton socks with no nylon? I'm allergic to nylon.

So getting to take those dad blamed socks off at the end of the day is such a pleasure to me. I love to wiggle my toes and feel happy that I get a break from the part of the civilization uniform known as socks and shoes.
