I woke up having dizzy spells this morning..
I thought it was just a hangover, but I think I have an inner ear infection. My whole equalibrium (SP?) is off. I'm taking Dramamine and I guess I'm just going to wait until Monday to try to get a doctor's appointment for some antibiotics. The dizziness isn't terrible, but the vomiting hasn't been pleasant, hence the Dramamine.
What makes it worse is I had a friend supposed to come over today. She's in town this weekend from St. Louis. Thank goodness we went out drinking last night or I wouldn't have gotten to see her at all.
How's your Saturday going?

1. Sounds Like The Stomach Flu
if you are vomiting

if it is an inner ear infection, or you are stopped up at least, I've taken decongestants for that before and had it help.

once I went for a bicycle ride and came back and the whole room was spinning like I was drunk, but I hadn't had a drop to drink.

I went to the doctors office and they cleaned my ears with the hydraulic thing and gave me a decongestant and I was fine.

Weirdest experience I had that particular day ;)

2. Best wishes at the doctor! I recently overcame an ear infection...
nasty stuff.

I slept through today doing some trial runs with the new antivirus program... seems to be working, but the new firewall is overzealous - but better than Trend's, which did sod all...

9. Definitley the blood stealers, then.
Make yourself some nice hot tea to drink, and then burn an old shoe and a raw fish to invoke the protection of the Two Ghosts of Liberty.

6. Since you thought it was a hangover, I'd recommend less booze.
Or maybe more sleep.

7. Honestly I only had one drink last night...
And I drank half of it. But I've been drinking wine lately with dinner occasionally, and I thought maybe the dehydration had caught up with me.

8. In that case,
Maybe you should get some blood-work done.

Seriously. I was kidding around earlier, but if you're waking up feeling like you have a hangover, it might be time to visit your doc. There could be something wrong that you need to know about.

17. Not possible...
If you knew the lengths that we go to to not get pregnant, you'd know it's not possible.

15. Try ginger
Ginger is very soothing. It is used for nausea and motion sickness. If you don't have any in the house, maybe DH can get you some at the store. Slice some up and chew on it. You might also try ginger ale, the real stuff. There is at least one brand on the market that doesn't have corn syrup and other not so good stuff in it.
