Nothing better than a huge pot of peanuts and a great group of friends, sitting around the pot. That's what we used to do back in the day, before we started boiling crawfish. We still have peanut boils at the end of summer when we can get the peanuts.

I love boiled peanuts.

We went to the beach today because the weather was DEVINE.

15. Driving down through Georgia last year, i stopped in a little c-store...

and right there by the cashier's counter, they had 2 different 2-gallon slow-cookers full of them (one regular, one spicy), with little lidded styrofoam cups to serve yourself!

Their's were a little saltier than i generally like 'em, and i had to wait until it was someone else's turn to drive, but dang that was a nice surprise snack.
