1. It's one of the greatest cities in the world
It makes all southern capitals look like they are run by little girls.
:P
I kid of course, but it used to have the first Wendy's restaraunt but it closed on Friday because the people that now run Wendy's are douchebags. Tell him to go checkout Ohio Stadium and all the old bars on High Street and German Village.

6. :P
I've lived in Columbus for 12 years. The stadium is a terrific place. Schmidts in German Village has terrific german food and cream puffs the size of dinner plates.

PM if you want some particulars.

:)

7. Columbus is a great place
There are so many women there for the taking. Columbus is well known for being called "cheater's paradise". I hope he has a great time!

10. It's a great place
if you have someone to show you around to the good places. The pizza in the Grandview Hts (near OSU campus) area is excellent! Especially Panzera's.

It's my home town and I miss it alot!

14. My hometown too, hippywife
My parents lived about 2 blocks from Panzera's (which is at 3rd & Grandview) when I was born although we moved a little farther north when I was about 3, but I know the area well; good Italian food around there.

12. One of the things I learned about Columbus, OH is that it is a "test market city"
so there are tons and tons of the big-box stores. The shopping there is excellent! :D

:hi: He'll be back soon, don't worry.

16. Columbus should be wiped off the map
but that is just because I am still bitter that Ohio State beat Wisconsin in basketball and Notre Dame in football.

17. The traffic is a nightmare.
You'll sometimes sit at a red light for 10 minutes. People are unable to drive, and gods forbid that there should be the tiniest bit of precipitation (snow or rain) in the air, then everything slows to a crawl. I suspect your husband will be happy to get back. Personally, I'd kill to get out of here.

23. I've driven in other large cites, though, and...
...Columbus is hands-down the worst. Even places like Chicago that (technically) have heavier traffic, at least have drivers who know how to drive. Maybe I just hate it inordinately because I'm stuck here. Am definitely not a "city girl." x(
