Sunday night, things are slow, tell us a silly story about yourself. Here is mine:

[The Straight Story]

Shortly after my wife and I met we were driving from California to Ohio.

We stopped at some Texas trading post along I40 outside of Amarillo. I bought her a few small rings and there was a wishing well there.

So we decided to give it a whirl.

She tossed a penny in and made a wish. Something about us being together and happy and having a kid some day.

That came true actually.

I tossed a penny in. She asked me what I wished for.

I grabbed the top of my pants, pulled em out and looked down.

"Shit!" I said. She said "What's wrong?"

I replied "This thing must be broken cause it's still not 12 inches!"

She still reminds me of that episode once in awhile....

Ok. Here's mine. I once lost my trunks tubing at my friend's cottage in front of pretty much his entire family. It just so happened that I was being dragged along, holding on to the tube with one arm for about 40 yards in full frontal view of his mom, dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters-in-law, neighbors, nephews...everyone all watching us on lawn chairs. I was unable to find my trunks in the mucky water, so I had to pull myself back into the boat au naturale. And there we no towels on the boat so his giggling mom brought me a towel.
