Gennifer Flowers joins cast of "Boobs! The Musical"
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 01:11 PM by lancdem
I almost fell on the floor laughing when I read this (it was on the back page of my local paper, in the People column.)

Gennifer Flowers sings again.
The woman who says she had an intimate relationship with President Clinton will be joining "Boobs! The Musical," a revue currently running at a midtown Manhattan nightspot, on Jan. 21.
"I went down and saw Gennifer in New Orleans, and she's just an amazing talent," Lawrence Leritz, the show's producer, said Thursday. Flowers and her stockbroker-husband own a club in the French Quarter called Gennifer Flowers' Kelsto Club.
"Gennifer has been singing professionally for 30 years. She's played all over the world," Leritz added. "People are going to be very surprised when they see her deliver the goods."

1. "Boobs! The Musical"???????
What the heck is "Boobs! The Musical."?

I really don't think Ms Flowers is really appropriate to star in it. I think Dumb-ya and Rumsfeld should get top billing. After all, they ARE the biggest boobs in the US.

Also, maybe Rush would wanna flash the audience his D-cups!!

3. Directed by the director of "Christmas with the Crawford"
Which is supposedly great, guys in drag doing Joan and family.

Boobs is the life story of singer/songwriter from the 40's who wrote very risque numbers. I actually wanted to see - but I really don't want to see Jennifer Flowers.

Here's the last graf:

The revue, which has been playing at Dillon's since mid-December, celebrates the bawdy songs of Ruth Wallis, who in the 1950s was labeled "queen of the party records."

6. It depends on what the definition of "goods" is

(BTW, I wonder how she got a stockbroker to marry her? I'll bet his family was thrilled.)

7. That woman has no shame.
I never understood her motives in coming forward in the first place, other than self-promotion. If Clinton hadn't run for president, I doubt we'd have ever heard of her.

8. Her motive was money (and self-promotion, as you say)
It's a certainty we never would've heard of her if Clinton had never run.
