My Goddaughter turns 5 today!
This is her birthday party from over the weekend. I so wish I could have been there. I have been trying to help her mom find her a kitten as a birthday gift, but we have had no luck. She knows she is getting a "baby kitty" so it won't be so bad if she doesn't get one today.

And she doesn't think she is pretty at all. We keep trying to convince her that she's a gorgeous little girl.

Her dad and stepmom are real pieces of work. :eyes:

She doesn't deserve to be treated in a way that leads her to think she's ugly. :cry:

4. I know it.
They dyed her hair from dark brown to light blonde and put acrylic nails on her at 4. She thinks she has to have things to make her pretty.

The good news is that they are not allowed to see her for over 2 months due to a protective order. She is doing much better now with her behavior and self esteem. Hopefully, they will only get supervised visitations from now on.
