How was your bike ride to work today?
Mine was lovely. Moderate temperatures, no heavy traffic and no rude drivers. The perfect way to clear my head with fresh air and exercise.

What about yours?

1. It would have been very unpleasant
18 degrees and 15MPH winds. I drove.

3. i think the word that he would have been looking for is "frost-bitening"
It's 15 degrees here, too, so i can commiserate with him.

After a 10 minute walk from the PRT station to the comp lab, i couldn't feel my cheeks or nose.

6. How far do you ride?
I love to ride to work, but can't ride home just yet because it's dark. By next week I can though.

7. A grueling two miles :)
I rarely have to ride at night but when I do I have a halogen lamp that attaches to my helmet so it's always pointed in the direction where I'm looking. It works quite well.

13. 11 miles for me
I've got a good light too, but it's a very busy highway and I don't like the nighttime ride. Too many drunks in these parts.

8. Well, I pay the bills from my bedroom..
I do plan on going to the store on my bike for beer in a couple hours. That will be about three miles.

9. No bike. I read on my way to work.
Via bus & train. (Yes, Virginia--Houston does have mass transit.)

Currently, I'm working my way through one of the Flashman novels...

10. I walked to work today. It was cold and blustery out.
My walk was from my bedroom to the home office, less than thirty feet. It was great.

11. I walked to work
A little over 3 miles, no sidewalks between the 1st and 3rd mile(there is a path next to a creek though), somewhere in the high teens with a wind chill of something like 0. Hopefully I'll be able to do it again tomorrow morning and afternoon when it's snowing.
