What's your favorite cereal?
Mine is plain old Cheerios. I just had a most delicious bowl that I added a small handful of dried blueberries to. :loveya:

12. Yeah, I suppose there may be some sugar in there somewhere...

and, just maybe some corn too.

:D

Okay, I didn't remember the name change... I guess it was to make them sound healthier.
I can just see a group of somber ad people sitting around a long table listening to the boss
saying, "We've got to do something about the Granola Problem."

Hey, don't "Sugar Pops" have something to do with the "Honey Bear?"

54. The ad jingle
Edited on Tue Mar-06-07 05:48 PM by Dyedinthewoolliberal
was something like "Kellogs sugar corn pops, sugar pops are tops. Oh the pops are sweeter, you know it's true, 'cause they're shot with sugar, through and through" Or something like that! :)
If I've learned anything it's the power of advertising on young minds. That commercial was airing in the 50's!
:)

36. Oatmeal with LOTS of extras to make it good.
First, cook your oatmeal in MILK, not water.

Then add: sea salt, vanilla extract, butter, cinnamon and brown sugar. Stir up and make sure the butter is melted. Then pour more milk on it and eat it.

Lots of people don't know that oatmeal is good, when cooked in milk.
