the pork, chicken, indiscernible parts type?

I like them both I guess.

Cut in half and grilled on the trusty George Foreman, with chili and cheese, on a toasted bun.

Had three for lunch that way... :-)

I LOVE grilled hotdogs, but the MidloKidlos, not so much. It sucks because it's a cheap, easy dinner.

14. Chicago Style - Vienna frank with poppy seed bun.
A Vienna dog is an absolute must. Nothing else will substitute.

Char dogs are also acceptable, as long as they're Vienna.

36. Vienna is a brand name.
Their hot dogs are 100% beef brisket. They're based here, in Chicago.

A char dog is a hot dog that has a cross cut into both ends about an inch deep. It's then put on a grill and cooked so that the ends get slightly charred. Thusly:

I can do without a couple of the Chicago dog ingredients, namely tomatoes, peppers and pickles. The atomic green relish is a must though. It's really more of a blue-green as you can see in the pic.

Bon appetit.

17. All the way!
If you want a Hot Dog "All the way" down here, it means you want the works: chili, onions, relish, ketchup, mustard, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember right now. Except sauerkraut. I like sauerdraut on spicy dogs at the flea market though.

http://www.tedsonline.com/

They use Sahlen's (pork and beef), and use a totally different method of preparation from Chicago-style (charcoal-grilled), but equally delicious...

35. I got a tank from the brick and mortar store when I was up in PDX.
The guy who runs the place is cool, and his wife (the lady with the short blonde hair modeling most of the shirts) brought their baby by and I got to visit with the baby. That was such a fun trip. :)
