So there I was, minding my own business....
and a friend calls. He had three guys with him, and they wanted to come over and play.

Dear Penthouse...

oh wait... they wanted to play poker.

My house is now a mess, and his friends all owe me cab-fare.

Oh yeah, I took all their money. I do feel bad for the crippled guy, but hey, he chose to play.

2. Yes.
I got rid of a lot of medical stuff I no longer needed after my grand-mom died, on ebay...some of which I discovered later is actually controlled access and not legal to sell...like 3 tanks of O2. Basically, enough O2 gas to blow up most anything. Not legal to mail either.

4. There isn't enough O2 gas in the *universe* to blow up anything.
Oxygen is not explosive. You can't mail it because it's a compressed gas.

Sorry about your grand-mom.

5. Are you sure?
The side of the tank reads: "Do not use in presence of open flame. Explosive/Flammable." I guess they could mean explosively-flammable (which I fortunately knew it was) as opposed to bomb-like. I've seen video of the damned thing going off if you try to smoke while while the gas is on though the nasal canula. We made her watch it too, just so she wouldn't get any ideas. How else do you make a chain-smoker on an O2 mask quit?

As for Grandma, it been almost 2 years. Thank you. I was broken up about it at the time, but I've come to accept it.

8. It makes things burn *very* efficiently (hotly) but it's not in itself explosive
See the Apollo 1 disaster for the dangers of pure oxygen.

6. Oh, yeah? How about a balloon, smart guy?
I bet there's enough O2 in the universe to blow up one small balloon... :P
